Ever since I was in 7th grade I wanted to visit Scotland. And now I may go on a trip to Scotland as a graduation present. But I admit I don’t know that much about the culture besides the guys with the bear skin hats with the kilt and bagpipes.

But if you have anything to say about visiting Scotland, or have a story that could be helpful on my trip, please tell.

If it helps I just recently went to London on a band trip.

We´re together 5 years and live together 2 years, our wedding is next May. I gave him permission to go because he´s the type of person that would resent his freedom being limited but I´m not really comfortable with it. I´m hoping he won´t continue doing this once we are married. The real reason I´m pissed off with him going away off is that he did this before against my wishes, 2 years ago, at a really bad time. Basically we were moving from my country (Ireland) to his (Spain) and he went for a week to Scotland for holidays with 4 female friends!! I needed him around at that time for emotional support (seeing as I was giving up my career, country, family and friends to be with him. This time isn´t as bad (no girls this time) but I´m starting to get cold feet about the wedding now. Also he works a lot (from home) and is often very stresses and cranky and not sure I want to deal with that sort of behaviour forever. Help please!!

I really love Brody Owen.
Brody means “Of a Scottish Castle” and Owen is “Desire Born” and is Welsh.

I love the meanings. What do you think? Do you have any other Scottish/Irish middle names that would sound better?

I’m fixing to go on a trip to Scotland, and I’ve always been fascinated with Irish/Scottish Culture. I can’t wait for the culture shock!
