A question asked by Felicia Daniels: What are some great scottish names?
I need them for my book. There are several characters still un-named and I can’t seem to find any that are good. For the majority of the characters common names will do both male and female. But then I have 4 women whose names need to be intimidating.
Thanks!

A question asked by Serena: How long do you have to live in Scotland to qualify for free education?
I’ve lived in Scotland for the past 4 years and am in the process of becoming a UK citizen.I’ve paid taxes in the UK for the past 3 years since I began working and am married to a UK citizen. I am interested in pursuing a graduate degree, but can’t afford to pay international fees.
Does anyone know when or if I would qualify for free university education in Scotland?
Thank you!
I want real answers, please, not insults.
Top answer:
Answer by Rachael You are not Scottish. I find it insulting that someone who isn’t from the country should be allowed free university education, especially when foreigners qualify for it, whilst I, who has Scottish parents but is living in England has to pay full up north, or suffer at 9 grand a year where I am.

Question posed by Julia B: How true is it that immigrating to Scotland is easier than immigrating to England?
I am very interested in immigrating to Scotland. I would have my own business so am not sure if I would need a work permit or not. Currently in the US, my family is from Scotland just been too long to just go back. Thanks for any advice.
