so does this mean your granddaughter will have 3 passports? one being from scotland, one from britain, and one from nigeria. either way, you can have 2 passports. i personally have two and have used them both during different occasions. i’m sorry i cant answer the rest of your question.
It happens with some frequency. Her ability to get a Nigerian passport would depend on Nigerian law. I doubt British immigration would make any effort to stop them from leaving unless you had some sort of lookout on them. I can’t speak towards your daughter’s rights if she were to go with their daughter to Nigeria.
Scotland is PART of Britain.
There is NO separate Scottish country or passport.
