In total, I haven’t the faintest idea how many people live in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, but I live here, near Loch Ness in a village called Drumnadrochit. It is the most fantastic place to live!
In answer to the second part of your question, yes I do feel a kinship to the Irish people.
