ya when you get bigger you will be able to hit it a lot further. Don’t worry about the long ball yet just keep working on your short game because you’ll get stronger as you grow
Depends on where the 83 score was shot. If the course is wide open, free of hazards with good putting greens, the score is acceptable. Keep up the good work. Concentrate on the short game . Then at age 14 see if you can duplicate the score on a full length course.
I’d say that is pretty good. A score of 83 is better than a lot of adults could do. I would not worry so much about length off the tee at your age. To me driving accuracy and chipping and putting are much more important than length especially at 13.
It is good. If you’re breaking 90 at the age of 18, then you’re probably well on your way to becoming a scratch golfer one day.
yourgood im thirteen and score a 96.. =(
If the par is 72 then yeah that’s not bad. But driving 185 is okay. 200 Should be where you are driving but 185 with accuracy is good.
I’m 12 and i average about 160 to 175. On a good day i can drive about 190. My best round (from the forward tees) is 91 but that was when i was 11.
It’s not bad. you can beat most of the adults i know. BUT, it’s all relative. See the web site below for scores from this past years junior world tournament. golfers your age are shooting in the 60′s and 70′s. In fact the kid that won shot 6 under for 3 days. It’s not impossible, just takes practice and dedication.
