Scotland is a fantastic country-dont let anyone tell you otherwise. There is so much to do and the people are so friendly. Things you must do include tour the Highlands and Islands, visit the historic capital Edinburgh and last but not least Glasgow. Glasgow is a comapct city with some superb shops, pubs, restaurants and museums. There are also some great hotels in Glasgow-we stay here when we visit: in glasgow

I like it. Family is from there, and Grandad insists I’m Scottish (born in Derbyshire), butI don’t want to be like one of those Americans who thinks they’re Irish because they are 1/16 it or something.

Great cities, wild countryside, spectacular mountains, friendly people – and they make whisky there. What more could you want?

I love Soctland particulally Edinburgh and beyound wonderful place, great food lovely countryside. Dont like Glasgow but they dont like me as I am English 1

Beautiful countryside (unlike the flat green fields the english like to call countryside) and nice places to eat and visit

I’ve visited there twice…the first time for 11 days (we saw Edinburgh, Stirling, Dunfermline, Drumnadrochit, Inverness, Ullapool, the Isle of Skye and lot of countryside in between) and the second time for a long weekend (Glasgow, Fort William, Mallaig) so I’ve seen quite a bit of the country, although still not nearly enough. It’s honestly my favorite place to visit and I’m hoping to go at least once more this summer (maybe twice if I can get out of work to go the Tattoo in Edinburgh). Everyone I’ve met is very friendly and helpful and the scenery up in the Highlands is breathtaking. I love the mist and even the rain because without it the country wouldn’t be nearly so green and beautiful. Like I said…it’s my favorite place

i always loved to go skiing at the cairne gormes in Avimore
but also shopping near prince square,Arguille street in Glasgow i found really good also the huge ice ring in Forrest was really fun, i even had a day out to Loch Ness which i really enjoyed
