No,its not a ploy to buy cookies.They really do. Take a look at all the different versions of the cookies.
Shortbread is a traditional Scottish speciality, it is delicious, but is best when made with semolina. Check the ingredients.
Loads of places in the UK have recipes that are traditional such as Bath buns (the town not the other!), Chorley cakes, Eccles cakes, Cheddar cheese, Wenslydale cheese etc
They’re not cookies honey but biscuits. Shortbread it a biscuit and delicious if very fattening.
