<a href="http://kansieo.com">Create a video blog...instantly.</a>

Um, what do we find culturally unacceptable? Um not much I suppose, I mean there's nothing really I can think of that would make me say "Ah! I cannot stand this, this is terrible!" I think that Western culture in general is becoming more homogeneous, and therefore unique cultural taboos are becoming more and difficult to find.

I suppose the majority of stuff is due to what would be considered polite, like you'd give a gift if First Footing someone on Hogmanay, if paying someone you place the money in their hand instead of on the table etc.

Uh yeh I guess you wouldn't insult locals, but thats generally being polite, and I suppose it wouldn't be the best of ideas to praise Thatcher in public (due to anti-Tory feeling due to Thatcherite policies in the 80's), but then that varies from place to place. As also stated you wouldn't insult William Wallace, or the Kilt, or Rabbie Burns. But then all these things are just due to etiquette aren't they?

Making fun of the locals' accent, e.g. by saying things like "A hoo in a hon an' a hoots, mon!".

If you are English, don't ridicule William Wallace.
