Ah, Beauty and the Geek was filmed at Blairquhan Castle in Ayrshire, Scotland. For those who don’t speak much Scottish (like me) the correct pronounciation is something along the lines of “Blare-Whahn”.
The castle has its own newsletter (anyone who’s anyone does these days, don’t you know?), and you’re welcome to drop on by during the season – from Easter to September – but only on Sunday afternoons.
