Will I Have Trouble as a Multiracial Female in Scotland?

I am planning on studying abroad in Scotland at Napier University in Edinburgh and I’m worried that my race might affect my experience. I am Puerto Rican, West African and Irish, am I going to deal with a lot of discrimination?

I studied at Napier a few years ago and it has many overseas students from all over the world.
As for Edinburgh, it is a city with many nationalities and ethnic groups, you won’t have a problem, people from Edinburgh are very friendly and easy to get on with.
edinburgh is very cosmopolitan,you will meet many people from different cultures,most people in scotland are not racist and wont discriminate,you get the odd idiot like you do in all places,but on the whole,theres a very vibrant mixed community in edinburgh,you shoudnt have nay problems,good luck!
You’ll have no problem in Edinburgh, everyone is friendly and cosmopolitan. Even I’ve had no problems and I’m English (I’ve just learnt not to talk too loud when Scotland are playing England at anything). It’s a great place to study – I came here to university and stayed to work here.
you’ll be fine i have loads of multi- racial people on my course and especially at uni the culture is so diverse, particularly in edinburgh and glasgow. you will have an awesome time!
No. Edinburgh is multiracial, as are many other major cities in the UK. You’ll be fine.

Absolutely not, when you go to Scotland you’ll see all sorts of different people there. The UK is one of the most diverse places in Europe. You’ll have no problem at all, nobody will care about your race trust me. I was worried about the same thing too because I’m russian, black, german, and irish and I was visiting Edinburgh and people were just as friendly to me as if I were a local person. Go and have fun and take pictures of the guys in their kilts playing bagpipes.
You will have no trouble in Edinburgh. Just get out & mix with the locals. Edinburgh is a very cosmopolitan City & has none of the racial bigotry that other pervade certain other towns.
