Would Ps3 Games in Canada Work on a Ps3 Bought in Scotland?

I bought my ps3 from Scotland and came here to Canada with it. If I buy games from Canada, will it work on the ps3, or will it only work on games bought from Scotland?

On HD tv, all games should work, while on SD tv some games such as GTAIV r region locked, however most games(say 99%) should work on SD tvs.
