The Glen Golf Club is one of the most popular of East Lothian golf courses. Whether you have played golf in Scotland before, or if this is your first visit, the Glen is a golfing venue not to be missed. This North Berwick East Links course enjoys superb views across the Firth of Forth and provides an enjoyable test of golf for all levels of player. If you are planning a golfing holiday in Scotland or organizing a golf tour or golf package, take the opportunity of including the Glen. East Lothian golf is special and the Glen enjoys a central location in the ‘Edinburgh Golf Coast’. “The Glen Golf Club is a delightful links course which enjoys panoramic views and offers a round of spectacular golf. It is one of the most under-rated and best-value courses in Scottish Golf.” Golf Monthly

Funnily enough, some English people can become all weird and resentful if you play golf. In Scotland, however, there is little of this. There are municipal courses everywhere and even the men who empty your bins will be next to you, the doctor and Lord Whatsisface on the links, the following Thursday. (Impatience with humbug is a welcome feature of the Scots national character.)
The Venezuelan leader is trying to shut down some of his country’s best-known courses. It’s hardly the worst example of the global bourgeois conspiracy,

I am playing in late March there and want to find a hidden gem to play on. I know about the well known courses, but want to find a abeautiful challenging course which may not be “famous”. I am staying in Edinburgh but will be renting a car to travel and am willing to go anywhere in Scotland or North England.
