www.1989adventures.com In August 2005, I took out my cybershot p73 camera and captured some footage of the Edinburgh Pipe Festival which saw a world record broken for the largest gathering of pipes and drums ever seen anywhere in the world. i think there were about 10000 pipers playing at the same time. Sadly, I hadn’t bought many memory cards at this time so actually had to deleted good footage off the camera as I went along which is completely bad but something I didn’t have a choice about it at the time. I guess this is what I considered the best clip and all that remains. i think someone else had filmed a professional recording of it too though so check out the official site to find out more and if they are coming to your city or town soon.

www.1989adventures.com Edinburgh used to host an annual Easter Festival which for the past few years has ceased to exist due to a lack of funding from the council and poor income revenue although the annual easter play still runs which takes place in Princes Street Gardens. I took this video during the last festival which ever took place, unknown to me at the time. I went around filming bits and bobs using my still camera and put together a montage of the day of events to share with you.
